From Schipfe to Zurich Main Station
House on Schipfe
"Schipfe" quarter resp. the path along the river side "Schipfe" has got it's name from "Schüpfi". Here are the landing stages for the weidlings where they were pushed ("gschüpft") to the board.

Lyric: "Art is washing down the dust of everyday life from the soul. Pablo Picasso."

But the lyrics are of megalomania (like: "I would create a new world", or "Reality is only eternity"), and it could be there are some better lyrics for this place...

At Swisssouvenir the bear already has arrived. Zurich population is surely glad that there are bears living only in canton of Grisons until today.

Zurich, State Museum
The "State Museum" aside Zurich Main Station serves the enforcement of patriotism. But since the underground suburban train has been built the building is in serious danger because the ground is not stable any more...

Zurich, State Museum, Swiss flags at the entrance
There is no flag of Europe here. The consciousness that Switzerland is in Europe and that Switzerland is managing the bank accounts of the criminal G8 states and of all dictators, is not told here.

The back side of youth center Dynamo is full of graffitis
Until today it's a mystery why the Swiss towns do not employ the graffiti sprayers in a constructive way for town design.

Zurich, Kloster-Fahr-Weg (Fahr Monastery Way), view to the bathing place and "Chuchi" ("Kitchen") restaurant
Until the 1989 there were circulating trains here between Zurich Main Station and Stadelhofen Station. Since the opening of the underground railway under the main station this place is used as recreation zone and one can take a walk "on the old railway line", drink a coffee or play volleyball. I did not take photos of the sun bathing people, go there and see.

Zurich, Kloster-Fahr-Weg (Fahr Monastery Way), Letten Cafe
The cafe is housed in an old wagon of the Berlin urban railway. Until 1999 there was no grille. Today Letten Cafe is grilled, probably because of "safety reasons"...

Nowadays the urban railway wagon hardly can be seen any more. The terrace before the wagon is larger than the wagon itself. And the theft terror has risen that much that the cafe had to be grilled.
